Financial Assistance to Recover from Substance Use Problems and Live in Health
SAMHSA and Southcentral Foundation's Access to Recovery and Wellness Program provides you with connections in funding to participate in services and activities of your choice related to recovery from substances. They include cultural and faith-based services to help you discover new pathways for individual and family wellness. The programs mission is to increase the capacity of individuals served, and to support client choices while increasing the selection of community-based providers for clinical treatment and recovery support services.
Applicants must be Alaska Native, American Indian, or Significant Other and provide documentation of tribal enrollment or have documentation on file at the Alaska Native Medical Center as enrolled in the Indian Health Service. (exceptions can be made with proof of status as family member of a Native household)
Applicant must be an adult, age 18 or older.
Applicant must qualify due to need for Substance recovery and wellness support services.
Applicant must be uninsured or underinsured and meet set income eligibility requirements.
Applicant must screen positive for substance use.
Clinical Outpatient services.
Cultural enrichment activities, arts and crafts.
Life skill instruction.
Substance use recovery classes and/or group.
