Outpatient Services provide organized, professionally directed treatment services designed to achieve permanent changes in an individual's alcohol or other drug using behavior. These services address major lifestyle, attitudinal and behavioral issues to allow the patient to develop a self-directed recovery program and support the patient's ability to cope with major life tasks without the use of alcohol or other drugs. This treatment occurs in regularly scheduled sessions, usually two group sessions per week are offered.
To complete the Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP), each participant must complete 20 individual or group sessions. Using Prime for Life curriculum, each session provides basic information about substance use/abuse for individuals.
